Job Title: Senior Clinical Application Specialist – Microsurgery Workflow (UK Wide Travel)
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Clinical Application Specialist to join a dynamic Microsurgery team, supporting the implementation and clinical adoption of innovative technologies that enhance surgical workflow and patient outcomes across the UK.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong clinical understanding with commercial awareness and enjoys working at the intersection of healthcare innovation, stakeholder engagement, and strategic business development.
About the Role
As a Senior Clinical Application Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful adoption of advanced clinical applications within microsurgery and tumour workflow environments. You will work closely with surgeons, clinical teams, and hospital decision-makers to ensure effective integration of technology into surgical practice.
You will also collaborate with sales, marketing, and global product teams to support go-to-market strategies and contribute directly to revenue growth through clinical engagement and customer success.
This position involves UK-wide travel, with an ideal base location in or around Manchester or Nottingham to effectively cover both northern and southern regions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop deep expertise in microsurgery clinical workflows and tumour treatment pathways, including ENT, Plastic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Neuropathology, and Radiotherapy applications
2. Support clinical integration of innovative applications within surgical environments to improve workflow efficiency and patient outcomes
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product management, and global marketing to align UK market needs with global strategy
4. Identify, engage, and build relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), reference centres, and senior clinical stakeholders across the NHS and private healthcare sectors
5. Support and deliver ‘Go to Market’ strategies for early adoption sites and new technology launches
6. Provide high-level clinical application expertise to ensure successful product adoption and customer satisfaction
7. Influence clinical and procurement decision-makers, supporting business case development and funding pathways within NHS frameworks
8. Contribute to strategic planning and execution for Microsurgery Workflow adoption and expansion
9. Act as a professional ambassador, representing the organisation with integrity and credibility in all customer interactions
About You

Essential Experience & Skills
10. Background in clinical applications, clinical sales support, or commercial healthcare roles within the NHS or similar healthcare systems
11. Strong understanding of cancer treatment workflows and surgical environments
12. Experience within ENT, Neurosurgery, or Plastic Surgery highly desirable
13. Commercially confident with the ability to influence clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
14. Strong project management and/or business development capabilities
15. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
16. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider team
17. Strategic thinker with a performance-driven mindset
Desirable Experience
18. Exposure to neuro-oncology or tumour workflow environments
19. Experience with innovative or disruptive medical technologies
20. Background in robotics, surgical imaging, or advanced clinical systems
21. Experience engaging with KOLs and reference hospitals
Qualifications
22. Degree in Health Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Pathology, Life Sciences, or equivalent discipline
