The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the electrical package on a 5m industrial unit refurbishment scheme in Stockton-on-Tees. You will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, managing daily site operations, and ensuring all works are completed in line with design specifications and within safety protocols. This role requires a technically proficient and highly organised professional with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to drive the programme forward efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Client engagement
* Conduction of audits
* Provide expert electrical guidance
* Oversee daily electrical operations
* Direct management and liaison with subcontractors
* Conduct thorough project assessments and analyses
* Resolve challenges that could affect project timelines
* Maintain and enforce health and safety standards on-site
* Working closely and directly reporting to Contracts Manager
* Identify potential risks and develop strategies to minimise them
* Monitor project timelines and ensure adherence to the schedule
* Handle client concerns promptly, ensuring a professional approach
* Analyse and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and design documents
* Identify and allocate necessary resources, including staff, equipment, and materials
* Ensure all electrical work complies with regulatory, environmental, and quality standards
* Collaborate with procurement to ensure the on-time delivery of materials and equipment
* Provide regular project updates and progress reports to clients, management, and other stakeholders
* Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
* Set and maintain quality control standards to ensure project deliverables meet the defined requirements
* Ensure accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and reports
