The Amcare Group, a Convatec subsidiary, has built a 30-year reputation for high-quality homecare services for the stoma and continence community. Our care centres are located in Cheltenham, Basingstoke, Dartford, Lincoln, Nottingham, Runcorn, South Shields, and Stirling, with a distribution centre in Sunderland. We are one of the UK’s largest dispensing appliance contractors.
Job Summary
You will engage with end users, healthcare professionals, and practices to promote Convatec products and Amcare solutions. An excellent communicator with a proactive attitude, you will enhance our reputation and market share by providing ethical, customer-focused solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Achieve KPI targets.
2. Develop new sales opportunities via outbound calls, emails, SMS, and live chat.
3. Follow up with end users about products and services, using solution-based selling to convert prospects into customers.
4. Stay updated on all new products and services.
5. Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams, both verbally and in writing.
6. Understand all stoma types and recommend suitable products.
7. Present Amcare services' benefits, providing solutions and advocating customer choice.
8. Drive performance through motivation, managing workload to meet customer expectations.
9. Utilize databases efficiently, gathering essential customer information sensitively and confidentially.
10. Follow established procedures, while seeking continuous improvement.
11. Use open questions and effective techniques to identify opportunities to upgrade customers from competitors.
12. Build relationships with customers through empathy and diplomacy.

* Proficient in English, verbal and written.
Education and Experience
* A-Levels or equivalent.
* Minimum 12 months sales experience.
* Proven sales track record.
* Ability to recognize sales opportunities.
Working Conditions
* Office environment.
Additional Factors
* Shift work between 08:00 and 19:00, including Saturday mornings.
