Midday Supervisor
9.75 hours per week (38 weeks)
County Grade 3 Point 3- 4 (actual salary £5377.60)
We are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to join our team supervising students throughout the lunchtime period. We are looking for someone with a high level of interpersonal skills who can communicate well with students and encourage their positive social interaction and behaviour.
The main duties include:
•To follow instructions regarding lunchtime arrangements
•To communicate with students, encouraging their positive social interaction and good behaviour and promote acceptable standards of behaviour in compliance with laid down procedures
•To perform all tasks in a calm and orderly manner, and where required in compliance with the relevant procedures
•To be responsible for dealing with accidences / or problems of discipline during lunchtime
•To ensure that health and safety requirements are adhered to
•To regulate the admission of students into the dining hall and supervise student behaviour in the dining hall
•To supervise students in the grounds and report any serious occurrence to the Dinner Duty Manager /Principal as necessary
•Cleaning of tables and floors
