Data GTM Director - Georgia-Alabama

This position reports to the Regional Capability Lead and is based in Atlanta supporting the GA-AL region (Atlanta, Birmingham), where you'll play a pivotal role in driving Data and Intelligence sales and fostering customer-centric go-to-market strategies.

As the Data & Intelligence Go-to-Market Lead for GA-AL, you will be responsible for building a high-performing go-to-market team and function while owning the growth strategy for Slalom’s data and intelligence offerings. You will be part of an inclusive, entrepreneurial team culture that attracts and retains top talent in data and AI, and position Slalom as a trusted innovation partner across the GA-AL region.

What You’ll Do

1. Prior Consulting Experience: Minimum 10+ years in Managed or IT Professional Consulting required.
2. Revenue Management: Sold capability revenue objectives
3. Proactive GTM Approach: Cultivate strategic relationships and initiated actions to expand the sales pipeline, collaborating closely with sales teams and client partners to identify and generate new business opportunities.
4. Growth Mindset: Represent the organization as an external speaker at industry events and engage professionally with customer leaders and CXOs.
5. Leadership: Utilize strategic and critical analysis to address evolving market demands and strengthen Data and Intelligence sales initiatives.
6. Collaboration: Partner effectively across cross-functional teams and organizations to drive and solution Data and Intelligence sales and advance customer-centric initiatives.
7. Technical Experience: Provide technical leadership, delivering solutions in collaboration with leading partners including Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Microsoft, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Dbt, Fivetran, Matillion, and Dataiku.

9. In this uniquely positioned business development role, you’ll tailor and scale our national vision of data and intelligence into a local force—where innovation, execution, and business relevance converge.
10. You’ll collaborate with leading technology partners and Slalom teams to identify high-impact opportunities, drive sales and revenue growth, and elevate our go-to-market presence.
11. Slalom’s Data & Intelligence capability helps build the next generation of data-driven organizations by leveraging data and AI as strategic differentiators. We help clients shift mindsets, foster data-driven cultures, and build modern data and AI solutions that accelerate the creation of products, services, and experiences—driving measurable value for organizations, employees, and customers.

Capability Vision & Strategy

12. Tailor regional or country-wide capability strategies to the GA-AL region, considering client portfolios, market maturity, and geographic factors.
13. Drive Data and Intelligence sales initiatives by leveraging market insights and aligning strategic priorities with customer needs.

Go-to-Market Approach

14. Proactively create demand by seeking speaking opportunities at conferences and events to establish yourself and your team as Data and Intelligence capability thought leaders.
15. Collaborate with Marketing and Operations to plan Slalom-led thought leadership events focused on Data and Intelligence solutions and client outcomes.
16. Ignite awareness and generate demand for Data and Intelligence capabilities by engaging in campaigns, RFIs, RFPs, workshops, and POCs.

Business Development & Sales

17. Be accountable for Data and Intelligence sales growth and managing the opportunity pipeline through to closure, ensuring alignment with market strategies.
18. Partner with client partners and sales executives to identify, create, or pursue Data and Intelligence related opportunities.
19. Serve as a Solution Lead or SME in the pursuit process, engaging broader capability team SMEs as needed to align with market strategy.
20. Participate in multi-capability solutioning and client outcome-based selling motions with the go-to-market team.

People Development

21. Support the development of a small team of direct reports with a focus on Data and Intelligence go-to-market activities.
22. Provide feedback for performance management related to capability team members involved in market pursuits and delivery.

Delivery Management

23. Contribute to delivery in billable roles as a Delivery Solution Lead

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted base salary pay range for this role is $180,000 to $258,000 In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
