We are recruiting an Agile Personal Assistant based in our Business Support Hub (BSH), part of our wider National Business Support (NBS) stream. The BSH provides administrative support across BDO nationally, supporting external teams and Practice Management Departments (PMDs). The Agile PA team performs various tasks on behalf of these teams, enabling external teams to focus on delivering exceptional client service.
The Agile PA role is challenging and rewarding. You will work as part of a team of Agile PAs to provide dedicated and ad hoc PA cover, which varies by business area. Core responsibilities include:
* Providing high-quality PA support to stakeholders (partners and directors), acting as a trusted point of contact and making independent decisions within your authority.
* Managing diaries and inboxes, monitoring emails and meeting invitations, and replying on behalf of partners/directors when needed.
* Coordinating events, liaising with delegates, booking meeting rooms, and arranging refreshments/equipment.
* Organizing business travel via our internal Travel Team.
* Liaising with meeting attendees regarding presentations and reports.
* Producing documents and completing expense reports.
* Providing an excellent client experience and creating a positive impression of the business support function.
* Handling routine inquiries and taking messages.
* Providing general administrative support and assisting with small ad-hoc projects.
* Taking minutes during meetings.
Technical Knowledge
* Previous experience in a PA role.
* Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills.
* Fast, accurate typing skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Basic project and event management experience.
* Ability to learn systems such as Workday, CMS, SharePoint, Teams, Yammer, etc. or previous experience with them.

Education / Professional Qualifications
* GCSE Maths and English grade C or above, or equivalent.
* Microsoft qualifications.
