Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to oversee the financial health of our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support organisational growth and stability. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong background in financial management and accounting principles, capable of guiding teams and implementing effective financial strategies.
Duties
* Develop, implement, and monitor financial strategies aligned with organisational goals
* Oversee financial accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
* Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation
* Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management and stakeholders
* Lead budgeting processes, forecasting, and cost control initiatives to optimise organisational efficiency
* Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering professional development and high performance
* Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth or improvement
* Ensure adherence to internal controls and external audit requirements
* Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making processes
Requirements
* Proven experience in financial management within a similar organisation or sector
* Strong knowledge of financial accounting standards and practices
* Demonstrable expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
* Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a finance team
* Proficiency in financial services tools and software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel)
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to interpret complex financial data into actionable insights
* Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) are highly desirable
* Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
