The Role
:
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across a diverse range of machinery including injection moulding and packaging equipment. The site runs a variety of older and newer machinery, meaning no two days are the same — ideal for engineers who enjoy hands-on work and technical variety.
You’ll fault find electrically on three-phase systems, inverters, and control panels, while carrying out mechanical work such as replacing bearings, chains, rollers, and sprockets. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers and play a key role in keeping production running efficiently.
The Person:
To succeed as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you’ll need:
1. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineering
2. Experience within an injection moulding or fast-paced manufacturing environment
3. Strong electrical fault-finding ability and sound mechanical competence
4. A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving
