Operations Deputy Manager £38,000 - £40,000 per annum 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday) Acer Lodge, Eleanor Street, Blackburn, BB1 1JD Role Overview As the Operations Deputy Manager at Acer Lodge, you will be a key member of the management team and play an integral part of the home. You will support the home manager, completing team member rotas, annual leave, training allocation and attendance records. You will also complete the daily leadership report and attend operational review meetings. You will establish good relationships with people who live in the home, their families, friends, and team members, We ask that you support and advise the team members within the home during working hours as well as during out of hours via on call arrangements. You will also take responsibility for Acer Lodge during periods of absence of the Home Manager. Can you motivate teams to continuously deliver quality? Responsibilities and Duties Provide assurance to the home manager that your service is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. Support with the production of action plans against audit findings and ensuring that actions are completed within the specified timescales. Represent the Acer Lodge brand by maintaining a professional and welcoming presence for all team members, residents, and visitors. To liaise with people who live and work in the home along with, GPs’ and other multi-disciplinary team members to promote excellent care Undertake regular supervisions and annual appraisals of all Registered Nurses and Team Leaders ensuring that the team have access to development opportunities Skills, Qualifications and Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills. Over 18 months of hands-on experience as an Operations Deputy Manager within a care home setting. Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and internal applications; with the ability to learn new systems quickly. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.
