Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Third in Charge to join our team. This pivotal role involves supporting the Nursery Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a passion for early childhood education. You will play a key role in fostering the development of children while maintaining high standards of care and education.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Nursery Manager in the daily running of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Supervise and support nursery staff, providing guidance and leadership to promote effective teamwork.
* Plan and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to learn and play.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
* Ensure all records are kept up-to-date, including attendance, incidents, and developmental milestones.
* Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
* Support staff training and development initiatives to enhance childcare practices within the nursery.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
* Strong management and leadership skills to effectively guide staff and operations.
* Background in early childhood education and relevant qualifications is required.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Experience working with children, demonstrating a genuine passion for their development.
