About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for aFitterto join ourRailteam inColchester.
The primary purpose of this role is to maintain and repair On-Track Machinery (OTMs) in line with company policy.
What you'll be doing
The successful candidate will:
* Maintain OTMs as per company procedures and complete adhering to set timescales;
* Be proficient in carrying out, as required, verbal and written reports on faults, repairs, maintenance, accidents and incidents;
* Ensure reliability of OTMs is optimised post maintenance;
* Ensure fault finding and subsequent repair is completed 'right first time'.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
* A served recognised apprenticeship;
* PTS and DP;
* Able to work to timescales/deadlines;
* Awareness of Health & Safety;
* Stores knowledge.
