Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on relevant experience)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our People Team at Callen‑Lenz. You will work closely with the Head of People and the wider HR team to support the development of a high‑performing, engaged, and future‑ready workforce. This role goes beyond policies; it involves shaping a people strategy that drives business success, empowers individuals, and supports long‑term career growth across the company.
Responsibilities
* Partner with managers and leaders to deliver a high‑impact People Strategy aligned with business goals and growth plans.
* Support the design and implementation of scalable people practices across performance management, employee engagement, and talent development.
* Advise on organisational design, workforce planning, and team effectiveness.
* Lead or support initiatives around career development, including building career pathways, succession planning, and upskilling programmes.
* Act as a trusted advisor to managers on people matters, providing coaching and guidance where required.
* Collaborate with the wider People Team to ensure all HR policies, procedures, and practices reflect a people‑first, inclusive culture and are aligned with legislative requirements.
* Use people data and insights to shape decision‑making, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement across HR initiatives.
* Champion employee experience by supporting engagement surveys, feedback loops, and action planning across teams.
* Support the evolution of our DEI strategy and ensure it is embedded into all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
* Lead and support change management activities, helping teams and individuals navigate organisational change positively and productively.
* Demonstrate a commitment to health and safety in the workplace by performing tasks safely and reporting hazards and incidents appropriately.
* Participate in health and safety training as required.
* Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Essential skills and experience:
* CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification.
* Proven HR Business Partner experience with a solid track record in a strategic HRBP role.
* Confident handling ER matters with sound judgement and legal understanding.
* Able to interpret people data and use insights to inform action.
* Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* Comfortable with ambiguity and change.
* Valid driving licence.
Desirable:
* Experience working in a fast‑paced, growing team.
* Chartered CIPD membership.
