As part of a small and busy communications team, you’ll contribute to external campaigns, media engagement, brand storytelling, and corporate initiatives that help build a clear and consistent voice across the organisation. What you need to be considered: Before we get into the exciting stuff, here are a few essentials to keep in mind before submitting your application: You will ideally have a relevant degree (e.g. marketing, communications, journalism, business, English, or similar) You’ll need either prior office experience or at least one year’s marketing or communications experience A UK driving licence is essential You’ll need to enjoy copywriting and be confident communicating clearly across all formats and to all levels of stakeholders What you’ll be doing: Working closely with the head of communications, you’ll support a mix of internal and external communications, including: Drafting and editing engaging copy for press releases, websites, social media, and internal materials Helping to develop content for external partnerships, including charities and local community initiatives Supporting the planning and execution of campaigns and media outreach Managing and updating social media content calendars (particularly LinkedIn and X) Working with stakeholders across the business to uncover stories and turn them into compelling narratives Helping to organise and promote events, exhibitions, and corporate activities This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are quite the same.
