New Business Development – Care Facilities PART-TIME Position, 30/32 hours HYBRID, Requirement to attend Sales team meeting Monday's in Cambridge Main Purpose of the Role To support business growth through proactive new business lead generation within the care sector. Key Responsibilities and Duties Research and Business Development in the Care Sector * Proactively contact care homes, hospices, and other care facilities to introduce products and services. * Identify and qualify potential leads for new business opportunities. * Pass relevant leads to the Business Development Manager for progression. * Recommend drop-in visits where appropriate and communicate these to the Business Development Executive. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date information within the CRM system, including leads, contacts, and communications. * Schedule and coordinate product demonstrations and trials to drive sales and increase revenue. * Support the effective management of the product specialists’ calendars. * Promote clinical training and educational offerings to care homes and care groups. Person Specification Experience and Knowledge Essential: * Proven experience in initiating contact with new business prospects and introducing products/services. * Competency in using Microsoft Office applications. Desirable: * Familiarity with relevant industry or product knowledge is a plus, though not required.
