The Centre for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (CELT) has an exciting opportunity for a Curriculum and Assessment Partner to join a diverse team of colleagues consisting of Digitally Enabled Education, Curriculum & Assessment, Communications, and Business Support teams. This post provides an opportunity to work closely with Faculties, Academic Registry Curriculum, Quality & Partnerships Team and CELT colleagues, to support and enable the delivery of the USW academic portfolio, and specifically delivery of our visionary ‘Block and Flex’ curriculum design and delivery approach.
Based at Treforest but with travel to all campuses required, we are looking for an experienced individual looking for an opportunity to work with colleagues across USW to champion the delivery of courses validated under the USW Curriculum 2030 and Block and Flex design principles. The role would be attractive to both academic colleagues with Course Leader experience or individuals with professional services backgrounds engaged in Academic/Educational Development. Individuals with a desire to make a difference to student experience through strong curriculum and assessment design, whom are able to inspire colleagues and whom possess a drive for both quality assurance and quality enhancement are warmly invited to apply.
This is a full-time fixed term post for 1 year but with opportunity for part time or job share or secondment.
The university is currently operating a hybrid-model of working. However, the successful candidate would be expected to work on campus for part of the week.
For an informal conversation about this post please contact natalie.forde-leaves@southwales.ac.uk Head of Assessment and Curriculum 2030, CELT.
