Driver’s Mate – Kitchen DeliveriesLocation: Various locations across the regionHours: Monday to Friday (start times usually between 05:00 – 05:30)Duration: Ongoing, full-time workPay: TBC (dependent on client/site)Role OverviewWe are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Driver’s Mates to join a busy delivery team. You will support the driver in delivering kitchen units and appliances directly to customers’ homes, including flats and properties with stairs. This is a physically demanding role and requires someone who is comfortable with manual handling throughout the working day.Key Responsibilities
o Assisting the driver with the safe loading and unloading of kitchens and associated items
o Delivering goods into the customer’s room of choice (including upstairs where required)
o Providing excellent customer service at every delivery location
o Working safely and following manual handling guidelines
o Using delivery notes and recording paperwork as needed
o Ensuring vehicles are kept tidy and goods handled carefully
o Working as part of a 2-person team to plan each delivery appropriately
About YouTo succeed in this role, you will need to be:
o Physically fit and comfortable lifting heavy items
o Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
o Confident interacting with customers in their homes
o A good team player with a helpful attitude
o Able to work long shifts (typically between 8–12 hours per day)

Additional Info
o Some deliveries will involve climbing stairs and moving through narrow spaces
o Manual handling training is beneficial — but full guidance will be provided
