Position Details
* Schedule: 4 on 4 off (Days) – 7am to 7pm
* Location: IPL Sittingbourne – site based role
* Contract type: Fixed term contract ending 25/4/2027
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for quality, labeling & packaging assessments on arrival and prior to production, at intake and during storage.
* Report inspections and escalation of non‑conformance in line with procedures and policies.
* Ensure all reports, daily checks and documentation are completed accurately, in a timely manner, and non‑conformances are reported and actioned on a daily basis.
* Support collection of shelf‑life samples and record results.
* Interact with site operations to ensure compliance is being maintained at all times.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience within Quality Assurance.
* Relevant experience in fresh produce / food.
* Confident decision maker.
* Basic knowledge of Food Hygiene.
* Fluent in English; additional languages desirable.
* Ability to support, engage and influence stakeholders.
* Able to motivate and inspire a team.
* Good organisational and communication skills.
