The role - Production Planning Manager
My client is looking for a dedicated, hardworking individual to join their friendly team. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage sales & orders from customers, managing the planning, production, and production team, to ensure a successful service to their customers.
This role will provide the training and opportunity for progression and potential promotion to Department Manager, which will include overall management of the Office & Digital Operation within the business
Duties will include:
Oversee the daily management of the sales orders, planning & production, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and team collaboration.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company regulations.
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.
Provide the Business Manager with the daily/weekly financial and productivity reports.
Manage and develop production schedules to meet customer deadlines efficiently.
Determine material, equipment, and labour requirements, ensuring resources are optimised.
Ordering consumables and maintain stock control.
Manage and resolve production issues to minimise any disruptions.
Oversee quality control to ensure product standards are consistently met.
Liaising with the Account Managers & Sales Teams
Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and machine manufacturers as required.
Experience, competencies and knowledge required:

Previous experience in Print or Packaging - ideally managing a production plan for digital or litho printing.
Ability to work to tight deadlines in a busy environment.
