Your Responsibilities as Commis Pastry Chef
Assist in preparation of pastries, breads, cakes, and desserts
Support senior pastry chefs with mise en place and daily tasks
Contribute to seasonal menu development and special event catering
Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and allergen standards
Ensure consistency and quality in all products
Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to new menu items
About You
Previous experience in a pastry or baking environment
Basic understanding of pastry techniques and food preparation
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Attention to detail and passion for pastry
Ability to work efficiently in a team and under pressure
Genuine passion for delivering nutritious, high-quality meals
Food Safety Level 2 required (higher qualifications desirable)
