Leading a team across operations, logistics, and site activities, you'll drive performance, maintain high safety standards, and ensure operational targets are achieved while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include: Leading and developing operational teams across the site Managing daily operational performance and resource planning Driving health, safety, and compliance standards across all activities Monitoring site KPIs and implementing continuous improvement initiatives Ensuring operational processes are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively Managing budgets, expenditure, and operational reporting Supporting employee development, engagement, and performance management Maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers Identifying opportunities to improve productivity and service delivery Ensuring all site activities comply with industry regulations and company procedures ESSENTIAL SKILLS Previous experience within an Operations Manager, Site Manager, Depot Manager, Logistics Manager, Distribution Manager, or similar leadership position Strong people management and team leadership skills Experience managing operations within logistics, distribution, manufacturing, industrial, engineering, utilities, or high-hazard environments Excellent understanding of health, safety, and compliance requirements Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and operational performance Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency KEY SKILLS Ex-Military, Operations Manager, Site Manager, Depot Manager, Logistics Manager, Distribution Manager, Operations Leadership, Health & Safety, Continuous Improvement, Team Leadership, Compliance, Logistics, Industrial Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, REME, Royal Engineers, Royal Logistic Corps
