Join our dynamic Trading Services team, where precision and collaboration drive success in managingplex financial transactions. As a key player, you'll ensure seamless operations and contribute to strategic initiatives, enhancing our business architecture and supporting a unified approach across functions.
As an Associate in the Trading Services team, you'll be responsible for understanding trading structures to accurately capture all transactions,plete reconciliation checks, and ensure controls are performed.
Job responsibilities
1. Capture timely and accurately all transactions in the Risk Management Systems.
2. Work closely with Operations functions and infrastructure groups to support a 'one team approach'.
3. Ensure all controls are diligently performed,pleted, and signed-off on a timely basis.
4. Participate and contribute to various strategic initiatives; keep improving and evolving processes and business architecture.
5. Build an in-depth understanding of all trading structures from both a financial and operational perspective.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
6. Understand all relevant derivatives and hedging products (Interest Rate Swaps, Basis Swaps, Cross Currency swaps, Forward Rate Agreement (FRA), Foreign Exchange (FX), Zero Coupon and Overnight Index Swaps (OIS), Bond and Futures)
7. Knowledge of the front to back Operations process (including the key elements such as confirmations, settlements, regulatory reporting) and facilitate issue resolution across teams
8. Understand the key elements of other infrastructure groups ( Finance, Market risk, Credit risk, Operational risk, Legal, Collateral etc.) and recognize the impact of the actions of the Trade support team on these areas
9. Must have clearmunication skills and an ability to use these to work collaboratively, explain, and challenge, as appropriate
10. Attention to details and sense of ownership
11. Great team player able to work in a pressurized and changing environment
12. Possess strong analytical and numerical skills
13. Strong problem-solving, control, and project management skills
14. Strong technical skills, especially in Excel (including VBA)
