Your Mission
As Manager of Insurance Broker Accounting, you'll lead a talented team that ensures accurate, compliant, and timely handling of premium and claim payments—both bureau and non-bureau. From cash allocation and reconciliations to reporting and system optimisation, you’ll play a key role in keeping operations seamless and audit-ready.
What You'll Do:
* Lead and mentor a high-performing team of IBA professionals.
* Oversee complex reconciliations, cash applications, and premium settlements.
* Serve as a subject matter expert on IBA systems, reports, and workflows.
* Drive performance, meet SLAs, and improve process efficiencies.
* Provide expert guidance on bureau systems and London Market practices.
* Manage banking, client money calculations, currency deals, and more.
* Partner with internal teams and clients to resolve variances and streamline operations.
* Champion change by leading process improvements and tech/tool initiatives.
* Manage hiring, training, and continuous development to ensure excellence.
* Oversee regulatory checks, sanctions reviews, and audit controls.
* Ensure knowledge is documented, shared, and regularly updated.
* Lead by example in service delivery, client engagement, and team development.
What You’ll Bring:
* Deep knowledge of IBA and financial concepts.
* Significant experience of the London Market Insurance industry.
* Strong leadership, analytical, and client management skills.
* Experience with reconciliation systems, reporting tools, and process documentation.
* A proactive mindset with a passion for solving problems and driving innovation.
* Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CPCU, CII, PMP) are a plus.
