Overview
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy (Clinical Education) – UNSW, Kensington, Sydney, Australia. This role focuses on experiential learning (clinical placements and simulation) throughout the pharmacy program and is part of UNSW’s Education Focused roles (EF).
Responsibilities
* Primarily responsible for experiential learning across the pharmacy program (clinical placements and simulation).
* Deliver high-quality teaching and contribute to educational excellence within the university’s teaching and learning communities.
Qualifications
* A PhD in a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience
* General Registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
* Knowledge and experience in clinical areas relevant to the practice of pharmacy and the ability to deliver appropriate care
* Active engagement in up-to-date discipline knowledge and professional development
* Demonstrated experience in clinical teaching and assessment at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level
* Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence (e.g., curriculum design related to clinical education)
* Knowledge of industry or experience with work-integrated learning (desirable)
* Level C: advanced clinical knowledge and person-centred care; advanced practice credentials (desirable); evidence of leading inclusive learning cultures and curriculum development

* Salary: $127k - $178k base, plus 17% superannuation and leave loading
