Marine Agent
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Marine Agent/Sub Agent to join a main contractor on Hinckley Point.
Our client is looking for a Marine Agent/Sub Agent to join them working on the fish return scheme aspect of the project. This is an initial 6 month contract with the view to potentially to last 2 years this. This role falls inside IR35.

Package offered for this Marine Agent/Sub Agent role:
· £480-£525 per day based on experience. Inside IR35
· Depending on candidates location, accommodation may be offered. Inside IR35
· 6 month initial contract with potential for future extension
Key responsibilities for this Marine Agent/Sub Agent role:
1. Supporting offshore HSE practices through daily briefings, safety tours and permit management
2. Coordinating marine construction activities to meet technical and schedule requirements. Including lifting, grouting and vessel coordination
3. Tracking site performances, maintaining work plans and reporting on process
4. Acting as key offshore interface with vessel crews, support team and stakeholders
5. Supporting risk and issue management to maintain safe an effective delivery
Experience required for this Marine Agent/Sub Agent role:
6. Proven experience in offshore or marine civil engineering or related fields
7. Strong understanding of safe systems of work in offshore environments
8. Ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver results independently
9. Practical communication skills and collaborative team approach
10. Flexibility in working shift rotations/hours and off shore deployment
11. Previous experience managing subcontractors is desired
