A vacancy has arisen for a Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive group of Health Professionals at Glebe Medical Practice in Lesmahagow.
We are looking to recruit a GP for 6-8 sessions per week.
Holiday entitlement is six weeks per year with 10 public holidays on a pro-rata basis. If applicable, Golden Hello payment is also available.
We are a rural Practice, located within South Lanarkshire and we currently have 6,400 patients with 3 GPs, 2 Practice Nurses, a Phlebotomist and a team of experienced administration staff.
We also receive excellent support from our Integrated Community Support team as well as the Health Visiting team who are located in the same building. We have a dedicated Mental Health Liaison Nurse and a Community Link worker as well as a representative from the Community Addiction Recovery Service who offers weekly clinics. We also work closely with the Community Palliative Care team.
The healthcare software packages we use are Vision and Docman.
Lesmahagow is a small rural town located in South Lanarkshire with scenic views over the Clyde Valley. We are just off junction 10 of the M74 which is approximately 20 miles from Glasgow, 13 miles from Hamilton and 20 miles from East Kilbride, all of which have an excellent variety of shops, bars and restaurants.
