They have autism, a learning disability, and mental health conditions, including psychosis, which can cause high anxiety and vivid hallucinations. Your role as a Senior Support Worker will require patience, strong leadership, and a trauma-informed, person-centred approach. As a Senior Support Worker, you will lead a team of Support Workers, ensuring consistent, high-quality care. The individual you'll be supporting, enjoys: Music & dancing Long drives & cars Cooking & bowling Cinema trips You will help them develop independence, confidence, and self-worth, and drive the service user’s vehicle for community activities where required.
