We're partnering with a well-established manufacturing organisation seeking to strengthen its people function through the appointment of a Senior HR Advisor at one of their busy plants.
This is a hands-on, influential role where you'll work closely with leaders and employees to provide trusted HR advice, support organisational performance, and help deliver the wider people agenda. You'll be part of a collaborative HR team, contributing to both day-to-day operations and longer-term workforce and change initiatives.
What you'll be doing:
Acting as a trusted HR partner to managers, offering practical advice on employee relations, policies, and employment law
Supporting the development of a positive, high-performing culture aligned with organisational values
Building strong working relationships across the site, challenging constructively where needed
Coaching leaders on performance management, capability building, and people decisions
Playing an active role in change programmes, workforce planning, and engagement initiatives
Leading or contributing to HR and business projects that drive continuous improvement
Managing a varied ER caseload, including working within a unionised environment
Collaborating with HR colleagues to ensure a consistent, joined-up approach to people delivery
What we're looking for:
CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent practical experience)
Solid HR generalist experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting
Confidence operating in a unionised environment
Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
Comfortable using HR systems and data to inform decisions
Experience supporting organisational change in a fast-moving or evolving business
