Logistics & Compliance Coordinator
Full-time | Office-based | Monday-Friday | 8:00am-4:00pm

Are you a methodical, detail‑driven logistics professional with high standards and exceptional communication skills? Our client is an established organisation that partners with specialist manufacturers across the Far East and Europe is seeking a Logistics & Compliance Coordinator to join their busy, fast-paced team at their Nottingham office.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys working with international suppliers, and ideally has experience managing inbound shipments, documentation, and compliance processes. You will play a key role in ensuring products arrive on time, to the correct specification, and in line with ISO, FSC and other audit-led quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing
Supply Chain & Logistics
Coordinate and monitor end-to-end supply chain operations.
Use logistics systems and tools to optimise processes and ensure timely delivery.
Plan shipments according to customer requirements and production schedules.
Supervise and expedite orders from vendors across China, Europe, and the UK.
Lead weekly vendor meetings to track progress, resolve issues, and align expectations.
Prepare accurate reports and updates for customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Liaise with warehouses regarding inbound deliveries; generate necessary paperwork.
Work closely with freight forwarders to maximise efficiency and cost control.
Produce Work-In-Progress (WIP) reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Communicate shipment requirements, priorities, and updates across the business via email and project management system Slack.
Manage and raise Freight Purchase Orders.
Compliance & Quality
Oversee the end-to-end management of ISO, FSC, Sedex, and related compliance processes.
Prepare documentation and support internal and external audits.
Maintain certification records and monitor expiration/renewal timelines.
Office & Administration Support
Welcome and assist visitors to the office.
Arrange couriers, prepare parcels, pack and dispatch samples/products.
Manage incoming/outgoing parcels including logging, photographing, and updating internal channels.
Raise call-off orders and liaise with warehouse teams.
Support wider team projects and provide cover for the Business Administrator when required.
About You!
Available immediately - this job starts around 16 February
Strong working knowledge of Excel (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables) and Word.
A structured, methodical, process-minded approach to work.
Excellent communication skills, including liaising with overseas suppliers (WeChat/WhatsApp).
Ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, operational environment.
Strong attention to detail, particularly with documentation and audit trails.
A proactive team player who is equally capable of working independently.
Confident working cross-functionally across logistics, compliance, purchasing, and administration.
