What you'll do
You'll be joining us in Treasury Solutions, where we drive technology and digital transformation for all our Treasury functions.
In this exciting new role, you'll be accountable for our Treasury Trading transformation agenda, delivering sustainable business and customer outcomes and capabilities for our Treasury Market colleagues, as well as their support functions such as Finance, Risk and Operations.
This will include delivering additional trading and risk management capabilities, meeting new regulatory and compliance requirements and creating processing efficiencies. You'll do this while ensuring all governance, risks, finances and resources are managed effectively across a range of delivery methodologies.
You'll help to align and deliver on the vision of multiple stakeholders across various functional areas of the trade lifecycle as we help to shape a treasury trading function of the future. This will include reviews of current capabilities and processes, documenting gaps and inefficiencies, and identifying practical, real-world solutions for remediation.
You'll be asked to produce and maintain formal project governance documentation, including project plans, RAID logs, action lists, meeting minutes, financial forecasts, and investment cases as required. You'll also prepare materials for senior governance forums, where you'll seek input, support decision making, and provide regular updates on delivery progress against defined milestones.
Success in the role will involve you being seen as a trusted advisor by your business stakeholders.
You'll also:
* Build, manage and maintain a positive working relationship with senior stakeholders across multiple franchises and functions, influencing decision making in line with business objectives
* Work with various teams and the relevant centres of excellence, to ensure the appropriate resources, with the right skills and capabilities, are assigned to deliver maximum customer value
* Understand the impacts other programmes or domain backlogs may have and successfully manage the dependencies
* Manage programmes, budgets and resources effectively to deliver on the stated outcomes in the required budgets and timelines
The skills you'll need
You'll have exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, a structured approach to project management proven through experience, as well as an ability to influence and lead programmes through to execution.
You'll also have a good understanding and proven experience of capital markets and treasury trade front-to-back processing, as well as the ability to identify opportunities to utilise the latest technology offerings to challenge the status quo.
You'll also need:
* Experience of delivering strategic programmes or initiatives that support the business strategy and its growth agenda
* To be a very capable communicator with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly, with good collaboration and stakeholder management skills
* The ability to present proposals and gain buy-in from senior stakeholders
* Experience in producing slide packs and running senior management meetings
* Experience with the Murex trading platform will be considered a bonus
