Project Manager (Electrical) – Water Industry | Up to £70,000 + Car Allowance + 33 Days Holiday
Location: Sites across the South East (Thames & Southern Water schemes)
Sector: Water / Electrical / MEICA
Salary: Up to £70,000 DOE + Car Allowance + 25 Days Holiday + BHs + Bonus
We’re working with a well-respected specialist contractor that’s busier than ever – and with Southern and Thames Water workloads climbing fast as we move deeper into AMP8, they’re only getting busier.
They’re now looking for a hands-on Electrical Project Manager who can take ownership of projects from start to finish across a range of water and wastewater sites.
You’ll be delivering electrical installation and upgrade projects across the water sector, typically ranging anywhere from £1k to £500k+, covering LV installations, control panels, instrumentation, and site electrical upgrades.
This isn’t a sit-behind-a-desk role. You’ll be on site, working closely with engineers, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring projects move smoothly from initial scope right through to commissioning.
Expect autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to really put your stamp on projects.
What You’ll Be Doing as Project Manager
* Leading multiple electrical projects from cradle to grave
* Managing surveys, scopes of work, design input, resource planning, procurement, and client updates
* Coordinating electrical subcontractors and site teams
* Managing programme, costs, and delivery targets
* Ensuring Health & Safety and project compliance are maintained at all times
What You’ll Need
* Strong electrical background (ideally from an installation or contracting environment)
* Previous exposure to the UK Water industry (AMP framework experience a bonus)
* Good communication, organisation, and leadership skills
* Someone practical who can manage projects without unnecessary fuss
Perks
* Salary up to £70,000 DOE
* Car / Car allowance
* 25 days holiday + bank holidays
* Strong project pipeline through AMP8
* Good team, supportive culture, no nonsense
