Key Responsibilities
* Act as the liaison between business units and IT, ensuring technology aligns with business goals.
* Develop a thorough understanding of business operations, objectives, and challenges.
* Engage in strategic planning to prioritise technology requirements.
* Collect and convert business requirements into technical specifications.
* Collaborate with IT to design and implement scalable and sustainable technology solutions.
* Project Management:
* Oversee technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve successful project implementation.
* Monitor project progress, manage risks, and address issues.
* Build strong relationships with business leaders, IT teams, and vendors.
* Communicate project status and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
* Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Skills and Experience:
Essential Skills:
* Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, IT Business Analyst, IT Project Manager, or a similar role.
* Strong understanding of business processes and translating business needs into technical requirements.
* Excellent project management skills with a successful track record in delivering technology projects.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
* Analytical and problem-solving abilities, focused on delivering innovative solutions.
Desirable Skills:
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Knowledge of current and emerging technologies relevant to the retail industry.
