Equans is looking for a Handyperson to join our team at Sandwell Health Campus in West Bromwich. This is a permanent, full-time role, working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £25,400 per annum and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
* Undertake a proactive role in carrying out first response to reactive jobs and complete tasks such as ventilation grille cleans, Light Cleans, unblocking of toilets, meter readings etc. in accordance with relevant standards and operational procedures and in compliance with legislation and guidance
* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks to services across site on various aspects of the building services in accordance with the PPM programme and personal competence and training
* Minimise penalty deductions by responding in a timely manner to all maintenance issues in accordance with the requirements of the Contract
* Assist in carrying out installation work involved in minor upgrading and adaptation works
* Assist in carrying out systematic fault finding in a logical and safe manner on malfunctioning equipment
* Undertake general tidying and cleaning of office and workshop areas
* Check and replenish stored items as required
* Undertake general duties including delivery, stock movement and material deliveries

Who are you?
* Previously worked within a maintenance environment
* Trade experience from either an Electrical, Mechanical or Fabric background
* Previously worked within a healthcare maintenance environment (Desirable)
This role includes a DBS Standard check therefore ability to pass is essential.
