Collingwood College is seeking an enthusiastic, inspiring and forward thinking Teacher of Creative iMedia and ICT to join our thriving IT & Computing Department. This is an exciting opportunity to teach a popular and growing subject area, while also taking on a leadership responsibility through a TLR 2.2 for KS3 IT and Creative iMedia/IT Programme Coordination.

About the Role
1. Teach ICT and Creative iMedia across KS3–KS4 (with the possibility of KS5 depending on experience)
2. Lead and further develop our KS3 IT and Creative iMedia/IT curriculum
3. Contribute to an innovative, supportive and high performing department
4. Make a real impact across the school through high quality teaching and curriculum leadership
5. Please note: this is not a Computer Science post

About the Department
Our IT & Computing department is flourishing, with increasing numbers opting for ICT, Creative iMedia and related courses at GCSE and Sixth Form.
Recent results include:
17. 32% Grades 7–9 and 84% Grades 9–4 in GCSE Computer Science
18. 72% and 100% achieving Level 2 qualifications in Creative iMedia and IT respectively
We also offer A Level Computer Science, BTEC IT and the recently introduced A Level Graphic Design.
The department is well resourced and supported by specialist and non specialist teachers, with additional IT classroom support assistants.
