We are looking for an ambitious, talented and passionate Social Media Lead to join our team and oversee our best-in-class social media delivery. Managing a team of social media account executives, account managers and content creators, you will be responsible for leading the organic and paid social media strategy and delivery of industry-leading campaigns for our clients.
We are passionate about working with brands we love and delivering outstanding results for our clients, specialising in creative, supercharged storytelling, data-driven strategies, and engaging content campaigns that integrate all specialisms across PR, Social, Content & Activations.
Our talented and hands-on Social Media Lead will drive forward our clients' social media success and continue to develop and grow the social offering at Hatch.
You will lead the development and execution of strategic social media initiatives for a portfolio of brands across sectors including food, beverage, sport and travel. You’ll oversee social content strategy, measurement and reporting, as well as community management to deliver to client KPIs. This is a creative and strategic management role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment with a desire to lead and support the development of a team of social media experts.
Key responsibilities will include:
·Strategic planning to drive the social media offering, cement Hatch’s position as a leading agency and remain competitive within the sector
·Create high value campaigns that are scalable
·Introduce and remain ahead of best practice within the team to enable a proactive and reactive way of working
·Continuously reviewing and updating our offering alongside competitors to retain competitive advantage, quality of offering and most up to date tools and techniques
·Regularly review client delivery/results and share with the board, along with planned campaigns both short and long term
·Ownership of social media campaigns and content across the various platforms for our diverse range of clients
·Lead, inspire and upskill team
Required:
•4+ years of experience in social media, with agency experience strongly preferred
•Proven track record of managing multi-platform social media campaigns
•Strong understanding of performance metrics, tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics), and platform algorithms
•Excellent communication, presentation and client relationship skills.
•Experience managing teams and collaborating with other specialisms on integrated campaigns
•A clear passion for social media with a hunger to understand and share the latest thinking on social media trends
•Experience in influencer and content marketing
•Experience with paid social strategy and implementation
