CNC Miller – 2 Shift System – MAZAK / FANUC – 3, 4 & 5 Axis – Permanent – Greater Manchester
CNC Miller required for a permanent 2-shift role with a market-leading engineering company.
Our client is a genuine industry leader with a global client base and an expanding order book. Due to growth, they have opened new sites around Greater Manchester and are looking for experienced CNC Millers to join their team. This role provides excellent training, exposure to multiple control systems, and a full benefits package.
Key Responsibilities – CNC Miller
*
Edit, set up, and operate CNC milling machines using MAZAK or FANUC controls
*
Work on 3, 4, and 5 axis milling machines
*
Inspect and measure components to ensure engineering specifications and tolerances are met
*
Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
*
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workspace
*
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in quality, safety, and productivity
*
Participate in overtime when required
Candidate Requirements
*
Time-served CNC Miller with apprentice training in CNC machining
*
Experience with 3, 4, and 5 axis milling machines ideally
*
Able to work on a 2-shift system:
*
Mon – Fri: 06:00 – 14:00
*
Alternative shift: Mon – Thurs: 13:45 – 22:25, Fri: 13:00 finish
*
Able to provide 2 work references and a solid work history
*
Reliable, punctual, and quality-focused
