Role Overview

Department: Commercial (Beverages). Reporting to: Head of Beverage Account Management (or Senior Account Manager). Join an exciting and dynamic team that plays a key role in shaping the path of our business. The Account Management function is the primary liaison between TVS and our clients’ management teams, responsible for client retention, growth and contract adherence. Account Managers hold ultimate responsibility for the commercial performance of our contracts and work with various departments to deliver an excellent customer experience through service, new solutions and value.


Responsibilities

* Provide support to the Account Management function to maintain and broaden commercial and account relationships with clients.
* Provide administrative support to Account Managers.
* Support Account Managers in the delivery of key account plans and strategic goals.
* Support in the resolution of client escalations.
* Support Account Managers in delivering an excellent customer experience.
* Represent TVS SCS in interfaces with the client if required.
* Maintain effective action logs to manage multiple priorities.
* Support the maintenance of client reports.
* Occasional liaison with the client accounting team to support the planning and forecasting process.
* Contribute ideas to develop marketing and growth strategies.
* Identify and attend industry and networking events to grow network.
* Support in identifying new potential ideas to grow our pipeline.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders within TVS SCS.
* Develop industry insights and knowledge.
* Maintain monthly contract performance dashboards with the Account Manager (if required).
* Provide holiday and absence cover.
* Attend client entertainment events.
* Support on-time client payment in line with contracted terms.


Qualifications

Preferred
* Experience in a commercial environment.
* Able to provide innovative and well thought out solutions.
* Support in the delivery of performance and financial targets, including budgetary cost control.
* Commercial, purchasing, supply chain and/or operational background.
* Understanding of the Beverage or Hospitality sectors.
* Proposal and presentation skills.
* Direct first‑hand experience of dealing with clients.
* Educated to degree level or similar.

Location

Our head office is based at a purpose built, state of the art distribution facility on Buckshaw Village in Chorley with excellent transport links to the M61 and M6 and a mainline train station less than a mile away. The office has onsite parking, shower facilities for those who brave the elements on a bike or on foot and a subsidised canteen. We operate on a hybrid working basis; there will however be a period of time at the start of your employment spent fully working in our office, meeting our people and familiarising yourself with our systems and processes.
