We are seeking a confident, calm, and adaptable Science Teacher to join a committed team. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who thrives on making a real difference in the classroom and is ready to engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4, from Year 7 through to GCSE level.
Responsibilities
About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across the Physics, Biology, and Chemistry curriculum, introducing students to the fascinating world of science and guiding them all the way to exam success.
* Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated science lessons for KS3 & KS4
* Assessing and tracking student progress through regular marking and feedback
* Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to curriculum delivery
* Being ready to adapt and respond to the varied challenges of day-to-day school life
Qualifications
* A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
* A calm and confident classroom presence, able to maintain a supportive and structured environment
* Flexibility and resilience – capable of adapting to different situations with professionalism
* A genuine passion for science and a commitment to inspiring young learners
* Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to lesson planning and assessment
