Area Sales Representative
Salary: £50,000 + bonus
Location: Leicester
Hours: Monday to Friday days
Company Car + fuel card
My client is a global supplier of Powered Access machinery and due to their continued success they are now looking for a skilled workshop engineer to join their ever growing team. Experience in the Powered Access sector would be advantageous.
The Role
Identify new business opportunities through market research as an Area Sales Representative
Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline through networking, cold calling and events
Promote and sell vehicle-mounted hydraulic platforms to a wide customer base
Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and close sales to meet targets
Provide post-sale support and maintain long-term customer relationships
Work closely with marketing and technical teams to stay aligned on products and trends
Maintain accurate CRM records of sales activity as a Area Sales RepresentativeWhat We’re Looking For
Proven experience in a Area Sales Representative or B2B sales role
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, results-driven and comfortable working independently
Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Willingness to travel extensively within the region
Full UK driving licenceDesirable
Experience within construction equipment, plant or machinery sales
Knowledge of hydraulic or vehicle-mounted equipment
