Ivy Resource Group are recruiting for a talented and driven Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of new build housing developments in Cheltenham. The Role Entails: This role is integral to the commercial success of multiple residential developments, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to the highest standards. You'll be involved from pre-construction through to final accounts, working closely with the wider project and site teams. What You Will Be Doing: Preparing and managing project budgets, valuations, and cost reports Procuring and managing subcontractor packages, including tender analysis Assisting with feasibility studies, cost planning and value engineering exercises Managing and tracking variations, change orders, and site instructions Carrying out monthly valuations and cost forecasting Ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions Liaising closely with the site and technical teams to manage cost and risk Supporting with the preparation of final accounts Attending site meetings and progress reviews Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders Ensuring commercial best practices are followed across the development lifecycle What We Need From You: Experience in residential construction, ideally within a developer or main contractor setting Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control and procurement processes Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills Strong communication and negotiation abilities Proficiency with industry software (e.g., COINS, Excel, Bluebeam, etc.) A proactive and professional approach with a focus on delivering results A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline (or equivalent experience) Full UK driving licence Salary & Benefits: £50,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience) Car allowance or company vehicle 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) Private medical insurance Pension scheme Professional development and training opportunities Discretionary annual bonus Flexible working arrangements Supportive team culture and career progression How to Apply: Submit your CV Call / Text / WhatsApp Robbie on (phone number removed) for a confidential conversation
