Job summary


Join us at Hampshire & Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and receive a 30,000 Golden Hello as part of your appointment. We are seeking enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrists to join our Community Mental Health Teams at The College Keep, Southampton, providing expert clinical leadership and high-quality care to patients with complex needs. You will work closely with primary care, acute services, and a skilled multidisciplinary team, with opportunities to shape patient pathways, contribute to service development, and take part in teaching, CPD, and research.

Main duties, tasks & skills required


This a fantastic time to join us we need forward thinking, dynamic change agents to join our teams who would offer first class clinical leadership and clinical care across all our Mental Health Specialities and who will support is in our on-going journey of transformation by bringing new ways looking at issues and thinking about how we deliver services.

* Community Mental Health

Qualifications



Essential


Full Registration with the General Medical Council

MRCPsych or recognised equivalent

Eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 12 months of CCT at time of interview. CCT in general adult psychiatry.

Approved under section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983.


Disclosure and Barring Service Check


This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
