Job Summary:
The Hygiene Operative is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all non-production areas. This includes ensuring that canteens, kitchens, offices, common areas, and restrooms are kept clean, safe, and compliant with company policies and hygiene regulations.
Shift:
Monday to Friday 8am to 4.15pm
Salary: £13.32
Key Responsibilities:
* Clean and sanitise all designated non-production areas, including canteens, kitchens, offices, corridors, and restrooms
* Ensure all surfaces, floors, and touchpoints are maintained to a high hygienic standard
* Replenish consumables such as soap, paper towels, toilet rolls, and cleaning supplies
* Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with COSHH and company procedures
* Dispose of waste appropriately, following recycling and waste management guidelines
* Report any maintenance issues, damages, or hazards to the relevant department
* Follow cleaning schedules and complete all assigned tasks within required timeframes
* Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition and report faults when necessary
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations and hygiene standards
