Religious Education Teacher – February start – Bury
Prospero Teacher are recruiting a passionate Religious Education teacher to join the team at a secondary school in Bury. The role will start in February and will potentially role until the end of the academic year.
The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching Religious Education and will be able to motivate, elevate and challenge students to produce the highest quality work and achieve high academic standards. You will be required to teach key stage 3 and 4 classes of varying academic abilities, provide regular feedback, and attend departmental meetings and parents evenings as and when they arise.
The ideal candidate:
Has a proven History to secure excellent pupil results in Religious Education GCSE exams Can inspire and lead high quality teaching, learning and assessment Is dynamic and an ambitious practitioner, who can build on the success of the subject and ensure good progress for all pupils Has experience of effective teaching and supporting pupils with a range of SEN, behavioural and academic needs.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Be willing to register with Prospero Teaching and complete all required vetting checks
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide a minimum of two professional teaching related references
up to date safe guarding training (essential, training can be provided)
Up to date prevent awareness & FGM training (essential, training can be provided)
