 
        
        ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provides management and oversight ensuring that Oracle’s Security Systems are design and installed consistently across the globe. These initiatives include, but are not limited to:
 1. Develops and manages the Global Data Center Project Management Team, including the sourcing of appropriate contracted staff.
 2. Provides mentoring, development, and guidance to staff, enhancing skills with developmental training programs.
 3. Works closely with the Data Centre Build, GPS Security Operations and GPS Security Systems teams to identify Security System needs. 
 4. In cooperation with the Data Center Build and Security Operational teams develops the security design providing marked-up design drawings and budgetary financial figures.
 5. Completes VAR selection process to award project works by way of contract or RFP response.
 6. Controls project costs, reviews quotations, raises PO’s and approves all expenditure; ensures contractual compliance.
 7. Develops and oversees project plans, designs and processes deployed by the Global Project Managers ensuring high quality and in budget project delivery.
 8. Maintains project schedules by monitoring project progress; coordinates team activities; resolves issues.
 9. Ensures all stakeholders are kept informed of milestones and major project developments allowing systems to be installed in a timely manner and transition into the GSOC / Local Alarm Centers.
 10. Manages System Integrators / VAR’s ensuring GPS standards and procedures are followed and key milestones are met on schedule.
 11. Plays an active role in the overall management of all providers, participating in all QBR / ABR programs.
 12. Performs additional functions as directed by the Director of Global Data Center Security Systems as necessary to achieve assigned business objectives.
REQUIREMENTS:
 13. Minimum of 10 years’ project management experience, with a minimum of 5 years focused on Data Center Security Systems deployment. 
 14. Proven background in the delivery of Data Center physical security projects.
 15. Individuals in this position must be self-motivated requiring little or no direct supervision, possessing strong leadership and mentoring skills.
 16. Must possess a strong background in design of Lenel Access Control & Milestone CCTV Systems. Wider experience of further Access Control, CCTV and other Security Systems is desirable but not an absolute requirement.
 17. The position requires extensive travel to Data Centers across the Oracle Global portfolio. Often attending project planning, coordination and implementation meetings supporting Data Center Project Managers, GPS Operational Team, Architects, General Contractors, and our appointed VAR.
 18. Ability to communicate and articulate with a high level of proficiency in both the written and verbal format at all levels, up to and including Corporate Executive leadership.
 19. Highly proficient with all basic Microsoft computer software programs and communication techniques.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
 20. BS/BA Degree desirable but not mandatory.
 21. Professional Project Management certifications are highly desirable.
 22. Physically located in UK, EMEA.
 23. Ability to show experience in above required essential functions is mandatory.
 24. Additional industry certifications are highly desirable, but not absolutely required.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY, IMPACT OF DECISIONS AND DEGREE OF SUPERVISION:
 25. The Global Data Center Security Systems Program Managers scope of responsibility will be global in nature.
 26. The qualified candidate will report directly to the Director, Global Data Center Security Systems who is based in the UK.
 27. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. 
 28. This is a Management (M) role requiring minimal direct supervision, management of a globally team of FTE’s and embedded staff, carrying a high degree of responsibility and operational impact on the business function.
 29. There is an expectancy of up to 40% global travel.
Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically four years of project management, product design or related experience needed.
