INTERNAL SALES & OPERATIONS SUPPORT BELFAST BUILDING DIVISION Salary: 30 -35K depending on experience. Job Description - Handle sales enquiries via phone, email or in person. - Act as initial point of contact as part of Sales Team. - Provide support for sales and management teams. - Quote prices to existing or potential customers and record details as relevant. - Record sales orders, detailing pricing and delivery details. Process through the sales order processing system, manually and via Sage as required. - Record and process direct orders, despatch notes and cash sales as required and produce the relevant paperwork. - Progress of orders. - General stock control duties. - Assist, and liaise with, Credit Controller on queries, account balances and sales orders on a daily basis. - Clerical and general sales office duties as required by management. - Assist in logistics and general operations. - Proficient and working knowledge of MS Office. - Progression to cover the sales counter and process card and cash transactions. - Effect customer service in general with stock levels, product information and price advice. - Assist clients with all queries, liaise with logistics and communicate details to customer or supplier. - Coordinate with the sales team to manage schedules, file important documents and communicate important information. - Comply with all Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements with particular reference to ISO 9001 and 14001 procedures and ISO45001 health & safety requirements including PPE, Safe Systems of Work and other processes. - Any other sales support, technical, operational or credit duties as requested by management.
