The East Kent Colleges Group operates three nurseries serving students, staff, and the local community from our Broadstairs, Canterbury, and Folkestone campuses. Due to our popularity, we're seeking a full-time Nursery Practitioner to cover maternity leave within our friendly Folkestone team. You will receive a hand-over from the current staff member and have opportunities for further development as the sector grows.

We are looking for an experienced Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner to support the Nursery Manager and work within our team. If you’re eager to share your Level 3 Early Years knowledge and skills and are committed to safeguarding, you might be the right fit. About You
We seek hardworking, experienced Level 3 practitioners with the skills to deliver high-quality care and education. You should have nursery experience and an understanding of the EYFS, with the ability to take on a key person role, working in partnership with parents and implementing welfare standards.
You must communicate effectively at all levels, engage with children, parents, and families, and demonstrate knowledge of child development and safety. Familiarity with policies on equality and inclusive practice is essential, and you should be willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
