As a Maintenance Operations Controller, your responsibilities include overseeing all operational maintenance activities to ensure continued airworthiness and safety management, utilizing your technical expertise and industry experience. You will have extensive knowledge of the A320 series aircraft, coordinate aircraft rescues and defect rectification to ensure prompt return to service, and maximize aircraft availability. Proficiency in aircraft maintenance documentation and computer-based reporting systems is required.
What you need to do the role
Responsibilities include maintaining oversight of all operational maintenance activities, ensuring airworthiness and safety, utilizing your technical expertise. Requirements:
* UK/EASA Part 66 B1 or B2 license
* Ability to gain easyJet type authorizations
* At least 5 years of operational experience in line/base maintenance
* Recent maintenance control background
* Extensive experience with Airbus A320 family
* Supervisory experience in aviation engineering
* Knowledge of Part 145 regulations and Part CAMO requirements
* Understanding of maintenance schedules
* Ability to obtain a Luton airside pass
* Strong communication skills
* Knowledge of AMOS IT system is beneficial
* Leadership, organizational, and time management skills
* Ability to escalate and communicate issues
* Customer focus, teamwork, independence, flexibility

Location & Hours of Work
This full-time, permanent role is based in Luton, working 12-hour shifts (days and nights) on a 28-day rotating roster.
