Our client in Scarborough, a manufacturer of Cardboard Products, is hiring for Quality Technician
Location
Scarborough (Finch Avenue East & Markham Rd)
Shift
* Day: 6 AM to 2 PM
* Afternoon: 2 PM to 10 PM
Pay rate
$21.01/hr; $0.50 afternoon shift premium
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out sampling rounds in dedicated areas.
* Follow sample preparation and testing procedures.
* Examine samples and detect anomalies.
* Document the results and observations in dedicated computer system.
* Organize work effectively.
* Comply with internal procedures and safety standards.
* Required repetitive lifting of 35 lbs.
Qualification
* Rigour, autonomy and an eye for detail.
* Experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment (ideally paper/cardboard or similar).
