Bus Service for all shifts Role of Warehouse Stock Control Admin Receiving shipments: Unloading trucks, checking deliveries against purchase orders, and inspecting goods for damage. Inventory management: Scanning, labelling, and organizing items in storage; maintaining accurate stock levels. Admin duties: Updating inventory systems and handling data entry. Liaising with the warehouse team to ensure smooth daily operations. Quality control: Ensuring products meet standards before shipping. Housekeeping: Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe. Coordinating with dispatchers or drivers: Scheduling pickups and deliveries through the load board system. Updating shipment status: Entering load details (pickup/delivery times, weights, carrier info) into the load board or TMS (Transportation Management System). Communicating with brokers or carriers: Confirming load availability, resolving delays, and verifying paperwork. Documentation: Managing bills of lading (BOLs), shipping manifests, and proof of delivery (POD) forms. Load planning: Assisting in matching warehouse freight with available carriers to optimize truck space and reduce costs.
