At LINK Communication, you can create award-winning experiential marketing campaigns for some of the UK's most exciting FMCG, retail and consumer brands. We're now looking for a driven, commercially minded, creative Business Development Manager to join our team.
This is not a cold-calling role. It's about experiential insight, creativity to inspire brands and commercial strategy that delivers results for our clients.
You'll re-ignite relationships with past clients, open new doors with prospects and deliver visually engaging, cost-accurate proposals that win.

As our Business Development Manager, you'll drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth by developing, executing, and optimising marketing campaigns. You'll work closely with internal teams, clients, and prospects to ensure our initiatives succeed.
Your key responsibilities will include:
· Develop & implement marketing plans to attract new clients.
· Re-engage past clients, updating records and rebuilding strong partnerships.
· Use multi-channel comms (LinkedIn, email, phone, events, trade media) to start conversations and build rapport.
· Provide bespoke, strategic guidance for client campaign planning.
· Create visually engaging, accurately costed proposals with clear ROI.
· Confidently sell in proposals, handle objections and track to conversion.
· Maintain long-term client contact withinsightful, value-adding communications.
What We're Looking For:
· Proven background in B2B sales, business growth or marketing.
· Experience in media, agency, sales, events, marketing, grocery or other sectors.
· Confident, persuasive, and comfortable presenting to senior decision makers.
· Strong written and visual communication skills.
· Able to produce and sell in costed proposals and strategy plans.
· Commercially sharp, balancing creativity with profitability.
· Proactive, persistent and driven to succeed.
Qualifications:
* A-Level English & Maths – Grade A
* Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, PR, Communications, or a related field.

Salary & Benefits
· £30,000 basic starting wage + uncapped commission
· Year one OTE £50,000+
o Uncapped 5% of Gross Profit (GP) from new sales won
o Example: £50k campaign at 30% GP = £750 bonus
· Annual appraisal reviews with opportunity for significant wage growth
· Annual Christmas bonus (December payout)
Holiday & Leave
· 30+ days paid holiday (21 working days + birthday + Christmas Eve + Bank Holidays)
· Holidays increase yearly: 2026 = 31, 2027 = 32, 2028 = 33
· 5 days paid sick leave + Statutory Sick Pay
Other Benefits
· Flexible working and part-time options available (pro-rata wage)
· Optional overtime at £13.00 per hour
· Full-time contract: Monday–Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
· Based at Governor House, 47 Kent Road, Pudsey, Leeds, LS28 9BB
