Job Summary
Herefordshire Council is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Children in Care team. As a Social Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to children and families within the Herefordshire area, working as part of a supportive team to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people in our care.
Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing care plans, liaising with professionals, attending court hearings, and advocating for children’s best interests. You will manage a caseload of children and families, ensuring their needs are met with appropriate support. Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team will be essential to provide holistic support and guidance.

Requirements
* Fully qualified social worker (SW Degree, DipSW, or equivalent)
* Minimum of 3 years’ recent experience in statutory social care, committed to positive outcomes for children
* Registered with Social Work England
* Full driving license and access to a car
* Eligibility to work in the UK
